RENEWABLE ENERGY ASIA 2015, ASEAN's largest renewable energy exhibition, will feature the latest energy sources and systems along with cutting edge machinery, equipment and renewable energy technology. The latest wind and solar power projects are among the many systems being featured along with thermal, hydro-power, bio-mass and other exciting green technology. International pavilions will include Germany, mainland China, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan and Korea. Over 20,000 visitors from 35 countries will be in attendance.

The 2015 event will also feature the 11th International Renewable Energy Conference, titled ‘The Future of ASEAN Renewable Energy in the Light of Energy Price Volatility.’ Here, company representatives and international speakers, academics and researchers will share their views on the future of renewable energy.

RENEWABLE ENERGY ASIA 2015 is again being co-located with ENTECH POLLUTEC ASIA 2015, the 25th international exhibition of environmental protection and pollution control technology. As Asian countries grow, so does the creation of waste and pollution. ENTECH POLLUTEC ASIA 2015 will feature the latest pollution control systems and technology in this important area.

ASEAN is now experiencing strong economic growth, but the increasing rate of development also brings higher energy consumption and cost. This is why the demand for renewable energy in Asia is climbing. ASEAN governments are strongly promoting and encouraging the use of renewable energy, especially in manufacturing along with use in residential and commercial buildings. Renewable sources of energy are not only cheaper but produce substantially less air and water pollutants, without disturbing residential and commercial developments. Renewable energy now plays a key role in strengthening energy security as it simultaneously lowers the cost of eliminating unwanted industrial waste.

Sanchai Noombunnam, Group Director, UBM Asia (Thailand) the show organiser, said; "We are proud to announce that ‘ENERGY EFFICIENCY EXPO 2015’ is being added to this year's event and will address an area of prime importance to all environmental projects - cost control. With the number of 'green' structures continuing to grow, we believe the importance of 'ENERGY EFFICIENCY EXPO' is a direct result of increasing environmental awareness that is being created by institutes, universities, the private sector and government. The new co-located show is designed to be an annual platform that catalyses implementation of green manufacturing, engineering and architecture. Some technologies and solutions that are currently preferred by the market include LED which can save up to 60% on energy costs, HVAC with savings up to 30%, and a new elevator system that can reduce operating costs by up to 35%. Some of these technologies will be on display at show."

The event will again be held at BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand from 3rd to 6th June 2015. For overseas visitors, the show organiser and the Thai Convention & Exhibition Bureau will offer complimentary accommodation with factory visits and numerous other special privileges.
