productronica looks to the future with a new management team
productronica, the world’s leading trade fair for electronics production held every two years in Munich, has undergone a reorganization. Norbert Bargmann, Deputy CEO of the Board of Management of Messe München GmbH, assumed overall management responsibility for the event from the start of 2010. Christian Rocke (pictured) was appointed as the new Exhibition Director with effect from February 1, 2010. The new Chairman of the Advisory Board is Rainer Kurtz, Managing Partner of ERSA GmbH, Europe’s largest manufacturer of soldering systems, and Chairman of the Board of Management of the Kurtz Group in Wertheim.
AccoThe objective of productronica is to provide exhibitors and visitors with value-added which goes beyond the normal extent and sharpens the profile of the trade fair. Together with Stefan Lotter, Deputy Exhibition Director for productronica, Christian Rocke will cooperate closely with the industry, the new Chairman of the Advisory Board, the Advisory Board as a whole and exhibitors.
As the world’s leading trade fair and central meeting-point for national and international electronics production, productronica still claims to be the platform and driving-force for innovations and trends in line with its motto “innovation all along the line”.
Rocke was most recently responsible at Messe München for sales activities of AUTOMATICA, International Trade Fair for Automation and Mechatronics. Prior to that, the graduate in communications management and PR worked in industry and the media.
Thomas Rehbein, who previously held the post of productronica Exhibition Director, will concentrate in future on his additional responsibilities as Deputy Head of Business Unit New Technologies.
