Perforce Joins Linux Foundation Increasing Commitment To Open Source Collaboration
Perforce Software announces that it has joined the Linux Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of Linux – the renowned open source operating system. This membership is part of a continued commitment by Perforce to encourage collaborative software development on both sides of the firewall.
DediAs a member of the Linux Foundation, Perforce will contribute to the Linux development community to accelerate software development and build more innovative products faster.
We recognize the importance of supporting organizations and workflows that encourage software development from multiple sources, said Don Marti, technical marketing manager for Perforce Software. By joining the Linux Foundation, we are better able to help our customers who face the challenge of blending the needs of enterprise development with third-party open source development.
