Patent application enhances advanced measurement with radar

The basis of the patent is an improved solution that drastically increases the ability to select a specific object. Unwanted reflections from interfering objects present in the same area as the selected object are suppressed in the signal.

The use of radar sensors is widespread. Radar is often deployed for level measurement as well as distance and speed between two objects. The technology is well suited for harsh environment where smoke, fog or other objects prevents the use of other technologies such as ultra sound or infrared.
