Partnership aims to integrate security technology

Both products are ideally suited to the growing demand for the generation, distribution and protection of cryptographic keys for IoT applications. Barco Silex’s ESECURE is a complete standalone module that enables security applications by shielding the secret information from the non-secure application running on the main processor.

The firewall prevents any unauthorised access to the secret data, and the secure controller embedded in the ESECURE module keeps full control of the execution of the security functions.

This partnership also enables Intrinsic ID to offer Barco Silex’s world-class hardware crypto blocks as part of CITADEL, the world’s first SRAM PUF-based IP and key provisioning solution, which Intrinsic ID announced in February.
