Thursday 15th December saw the Elektra 2011 European Electronics Industry Awards at the glamorous Park Plaza Hotel in London. Hosted this year by the comedian Greg Davies, the enthusiastic audience represented all sectors of the industry.
20 awards were given out on the night, with Pico Technology’s Adrian Carter picking up the “Rising Star – New Engineer of the Year” award. Adrian beat off 4 strong competitors, including another of Pico Technology’s young engineers, Pete Wootton. Although the competition was stiff, Adrian’s work on the PicoScope 3000A/B series of oscilloscopes shone through.

The PicoScope 3000 Series are the highest–performance USB–powered oscilloscopes available. These 2–channel oscilloscopes have 8–bit resolution and are accurate to within 3%. This combined with their large memory, high sampling rates and high bandwidths make them ideal for use in all areas of test and measurement — from manufacturing and repair, to research and development. The PicoScope 3000 Series offers unrivalled performance, and a cost–effective replacement for traditional benchtop oscilloscopes.

Due to successive growth year on year, Pico Technology is currently seeking C++ or C# software engineers to join their expanding award winning team. On Wednesday the 8th February 2012
Pico Technology invites you to join them at their offices in St Neots, during the hours of 8am to 8pm for their recruitment open day. Whether you are looking for work, a new challenge, or perhaps just fancy a change… maybe you are just curious… why not go along and see what Pico Technology do.
Easily accessible from the A1, the St Neots location in Cambridgeshire is ideal for those from all over the surrounding areas.
