Omron extends air/gas flow sensor range
Omron has added a more compact and lower cost version to its range of air and gas flow sensors, designed to detect clogged air intake filters and air velocity flows in office automation equipment, domestic air purifiers and coolers, and HVAC applications. The new sensors offer a monitoring solution at below the cost of a Pitot tube.
The Omron's D6F-W and D6F-V MEMS-based sensors both incorporate a patent pending dust segregation system (DSS) that separates up to 99.5% (simulation test result) of dry air borne particulates normally encountered in both domestic and commercial environments to ensure an extremely stable measurement characteristic over the product life time. They are an ideal alternative to single point Pitot tubes and thermal dispersion sensors in heating ducts and building/ environmental management systems.
Each is supplied as standard, optimally adjusted at the factory so easy and rapid user application is guaranteed.
