OFDM for Advanced Wireless Communications
hueggenberg gbr, the experienced firm for technical training courses, is offering a new short course on " OFDM for Advanced Wireless Communications" (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing). The courses will be presented in October and December 2006 in Munich (Germany) and in Scotland. OFDM is a bandwith efficient digital modulation technique which forms the basis of many wireless standards currently under development. The technique is now extremely popular for wireless communications providing the base algorithm technology for common standards such as WLAN, WiMAX and MBWA. Even in the broadcasting world of DVB (digital video broadcast) and DAB (digital audio broadcast) OFDM is becoming more essential. Future evolutions of 3G (LTE) will likely see the adoption of ODFM, as will different modes of the evolving ultra wideband standards.
SincThis course is organised by hueggenberg gbr and instructed by Steepest Ascent Ltd, who have more than 10 years of experience in the delivery of professional training. The lectures are coordinated by Prof. Bob Stewart with the assistance of the team at Steepest Ascent. Each attendee will receive a comprehensive set of notes of more than 1200 pages as well as a multimedia CD featuring all printed notes and numerous demos and simulation software for in depth study after the course. Lectures about this topic have been successfully presented in the USA at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) as well as on-site to a number customers.
