Emerson Network Power today announced it will invite data center managers and consultants inside the industry’s largest and most complex power testing facility to discover new, state-of-the-art power technologies and design strategies.
The two-day event, October 10-11, will be hosted at the company’s 144,000 square-foot facility in Delaware, Ohio, in which 86,000 square feet are dedicated to manufacturing and testing. The schedule will include a demonstration of the scalable and ultra-efficient transformer-free Liebert NX 225-600 kVA UPS with live witness testing of multiple power and load conditions.

“The data center landscape is always changing. Through engagement in events such as this one, we seek to help consultants, engineers, data center and facilities managers understand how our advanced state-of-the-art power technologies can help them adapt to change; achieve new levels of availability, capacity and efficiency; and be prepared for what’s next in the data center,” said Greg Moore, vice president and general manager for the global AC power business of Emerson Network Power.
Other event highlights include discussions with Liebert’s product leaders and engineers, which will give attendees insight into data center power challenges, trends and best practices; and a first-hand look at the Emerson Data Center Solutions Tour vehicle, most recently featured at the AFCOM Data Center World exhibition in Nashville, Tenn.

The scalable Liebert NX 225-600 kVA UPS is a transformer-free, high efficiency, on-line UPS. The UPS operates with unity power factor, providing more real power for data center equipment. The Liebert NX allows Softscale capacity upgrades without increasing footprint — 225 to 250 to 300kVA; or 400 to 500 to 600kVA 480V, 60 Hz UL models.
