NEO Tech partners with Cephasonics
NEO Tech has entered into an engineering and manufacturing partnership with Cephasonics, known for its ultrasound products. As part of the relationship, NEO Tech will provide the support Cephasonics needs to grow its business faster by providing access to scale, helping the company accelerate its value proposition.
To accomplish this, NEO Tech delivers local, US-based DFM and engineering services to make Cephasonics’ products more manufacturable. NEO Tech’s solution will result in a strong, consistent connection between Cephasonics and the production environment that is needed to produce the state-of-the art ultrasound products. NEO Tech’s concurrent engineering services are a critical enabler that enhances Cephasonics own engineering capabilities as an emerging leader in the medical- and industrial-device industry.
NEO Tech provides DFM and test engineering services, vastly improving the testability of designs early in the development cycle – before the manufacturing process has started. Other services include printed circuit card assembly, cables and harnesses manufacturing, and box build. As part of the partnership, NEO Tech will build Cephasonics’ cQuest Cicada™ product platform, which is a scalable, full-featured ultrasound platform that offers a high level of flexibility and excellent image quality, enabling fast time to market for the customers’ end products. The partnership allows NEO Tech to help Cephasonics best use its ultrasound technology to create game-changing ultrasound-based products.
“NEO Tech’s engineering team has delivered a concurrent engineering solution that helps us get our products to market faster, and enables our ability to scale the business,” said Cephasonics’ Vice President of Operations, Mike Lloyd.
David Brakenwagen, NEO Tech’s Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, added, “We are pleased and honored to engage in this business partnership with Cephasonics. We anticipate a long-term relationship that grows and strengthens over time to consistently provide mutual benefit and success.”
