Establishing design centre for sub 5 Watt DC-DC converters prompts Murata Power Solutions to move UK office

The previous site suited manufacturing and distribution operations that no longer take place in Milton Keynes, so the search was conducted within the local area to locate a facility that better met the requirements of a design and prototype manufacturing operation.

The Milton Keynes design centre complements the 5 other design locations across Canada, United States, China and Japan each having a specific product development focus. In addition to having vacancies for power design engineers, Murata Power Solutions is proud of the success of its apprenticeship programme. Young people join the company and spend time in each department prior to finding their niche, a number becoming electronics engineers.
