New recruits spearhead Midas Displays growth push

Midas Displays has strengthened its sales and management team to prepare for the next phase in its expansion plans. Industry veterans Mike Fowle and Chris Parr have been recruited as Business Development Managers to pursue opportunities with new and existing customers. Fowle joins Midas with over 25 years industry experience. He brings a wealth of knowledge for displays and system solutions including touch-screen and bonding technology, and will be responsible for Midas business development in domestic and overseas markets.

Previous roles in the electronic components industry include regional sales manager, most recently with MSC Gleichmann and formerly Sunrise Electronics, and field applications engineer positions with Arrow Electronics and Impulse Electronics.

Another 25 year veteran Chris Parr joins Midas from optoelectronics company Plus Opto where he held the position of sales manager and LCD/OLED product manager for 12 years. Former roles in component distribution include product management and marketing positions with Memec and Avnet Electronics.

Parr has a broad knowledge of market specific display applications including specialist knowledge of fire and security panel manufacturers and door entry systems. Parr will also be responsible for Midas business development in domestic and overseas markets.
