Messe München To Hold Seven Electronics and Photonics Events During 2007

From 18 – 21 June 2007, “LASER. World of Photonics” and the “World of Photonics Congress” will bring together the global photonics community. Themed “Light at work,” it gathers together the world’s leading photonics companies and those who use their technology, and presents the future trends and areas of application for the optical technologies.

The worldwide electronics production industry will be gathering in Munich from 13 – 16 November 2007 for Productronica 2007. No other trade show in the world offers such a comprehensive view of the electronics production market and the special technologies for microproduction. Productronica presents the entire value chain, from development work to the provision of related services.

The event calendar for the electronics trade shows that Messe München holds in emerging markets around the globe begins as early as February.

The first step will be in India with “Componex/electronicIndia 2007” in New Delhi from 6 – 8 February 2007. This trade show is the most important event for the electronics industry in India and it serves as an ideal platform for enabling manufacturers and distributors to profit from the excellent growth potential offered by India’s electronics market for components and production systems.

In Shanghai, “electronica & ProductronicaChina 2007” will be taking place from
21 – 23 March 2007. Since its debut in 2002, this show has advanced to become one of the Chinese market’s most important events for electronics components and systems as well as their production. “SEMICON China 2007” and, for the first time, the “CPCA Shanghai Show 2007” (China Printed Circuit Association), will also be taking place at this same time and location.

“LASER 2007. World of Photonics China” will be held simultaneously with these events. This event premiered in March 2006, and it was an immediate success. It is the photonics industry’s only international business-to-business event in China.

The “electronicAmericas 2007” trade show in Sao Paulo, Brazil, will follow from 23 – 27 April 2007. Held every two years, this event presents the themes of electronic components and systems and electronics production.

The final event for the program outside Germany will be “electronicAsia 2007” from
13 – 16 October 2007 in Hong Kong. This show has been taking place since 1997, and is the leading trade platform for electronics in Southeast Asia.
