Measurement Computing (MCC) has acquired Data Translation. The deal combines two companies with over 68 years of experience in data acquisition and instrumentation. It creates a stronger data acquisition company with a broader product portfolio and increased global footprint.

Data Translation is a pioneer in PC-based data acquisition and brings highly complementary products to MCC’s portfolio. With expertise in the design of high-accuracy, high-quality modules compatible with USB, LXI, PCI, and Ethernet and application software, Data Translation will strengthen the capabilities and performance of MCC’s current offerings.

MCC designs and manufactures data acquisition devices that are easy to use, easy to integrate, and easy to support. Included software options are extensive and provided for both programmers and non-programmers. The company also offers free technical support, limited lifetime warranties, and low cost of ownership.

The companies will leverage the strengths of their respective brands and invest in new product development. Data Translation and its subsidiary in Germany, Data Translation GmbH, will operate as a subsidiary of MCC.
