MDSL European expansion continues with new Gothenburg office
MDSL announced the expansion of its Nordic operations with the opening of a new office in Gothenburg. Ivo Georgiev moves to Sweden as Projects & Implementations Leader (TEM EMEA) to manage MDSL’s office and oversee the company’s growth in the region.
Ivo Ivo Georgiev joined MDSL from Kraft Foods in 2007 and has significant experience in software development and large enterprise TEM implementations across a variety of industries, from banking and finance to multi-national manufacturing.
Ben Mendoza, CEO of MDSL, said: “MDSL has always prided itself in its international strategy and we are extremely pleased to be opening an office in Sweden’s second largest city. We have been experiencing increased interest from Northern Europe recently and are very confident that the opening of this new office will be a significant step in our European plans”.
He continued: “We have achieved impressive overseas growth — as was recognised recently by The Sunday Times in their International Track-100 report, where we were ranked in the Top-25 companies. MDSL’s global coverage is a central element of our success, but that success is also built on the creativity of all our staff and their contribution to our development. I am delighted that Ivo is progressing his career in Gothenburg and I look forward to working with him to expand MDSL’s influence in Northern Europe”.
Ivo Georgiev added: “Gothenburg has traditionally been a manufacturing centre; however, major organisations have plants in the area and high tech industries, banking and finance have been growing strongly over the past few years – all of which are areas in which MDSL has expertise. I am confident MDSL will find Gothenburg fertile ground for its services and solutions”.
