Tele2 and Telit Communications have jointly announced that they are entering into a M2M/IoT co-operation to provide numerous premium Value Added Services (VAS) and connectivity solutions. Since the launch of its worldwide M2M/IoT operations a year ago, Tele2 M2M Global Solutions has signed a number of agreements with customers and partners.

Tele2 announced a cooperation with Telit Wireless Solutions, aiming to provide comprehensive solutions and become a competitive player in the M2M/IoT market. The co-operation will focus on a number of areas, including the launch of joint solutions designed specifically to improve serviceability and network quality of service, as well as go-to-market strategies.

The joint solutions will enable any size of client to access a portfolio of premium M2M/IoT connectivity and VAS right out of the box. Previously these services were only available for large enterprises.

“I am really excited about the partnership with Telit Wireless Solutions. Together we are able to take a larger share of the growing global M2M/IoT market by offering solutions that makes life simpler, more secure and above all more efficient for our customers,” commented Rami Avidan, Head of M2M Global Solutions, Tele2.

“We are looking forward to working with Tele 2. When customers select an M2M/IoT connectivity provider they expect to increase their serviceability and improve the quality of experience of their end customers. Co-operating with Tele 2 is a natural progression in our path to providing the M2M/IoT market with extended capabilities that meet evolving connectivity needs”, added Dan Amir, Manager, M2MAIR Mobile Business Unit, Telit.
