Littelfuse promotes Heinzmann to COO

Following 29 years with the company, Littelfuse has announced that David Heinzmann has been appointed to the role of Chief Operating Officer. Retaining his responsibility for the global operations of Littelfuse, in his new role as COO, Heinzmann will have all of the Littelfuse business unit Vice Presidents reporting directly to him.

With 29 years experience with Littelfuse, Heinzmann began his career at the company in 1985. Since then, he has fulfilled the role of Vice President and General Manager, Automotive Business Unit, and more recently, Heinzmann served as Vice President, Global Operations, from August 2007 until his current promotion.

Gordon Hunter, Chairman of the Board of Directors, President and Chief Executive Officer, Littelfuse, commented: “I am very excited that Dave will be assuming the role of Chief Operating Officer for Littelfuse and will be working closely with me and the other senior executive officers to execute our long-term growth strategy. Dave has demonstrated his dedication, value and vision in his 29-year career at the Company, and I look forward to working more closely with Dave in the future.”

Additionally, Littelfuse has announced the promotion of two of its existing senior executive officers: Philip G. Franklin has been appointed as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer; and Ryan K. Stafford has been appointed to the roles of Senior Vice President and Chief Legal and Human Resources Officer.
