LIGHTFAIR International 2014 billed as largest in 25-year history

That mission continues in 2014 with a conference and trade show of unsurpassed magnitude,” Portman adds.

The 2014 LFI Conference curriculum features more than 220 hours of education and contains 81 accredited course offerings, making this the largest Conference in LFI history. LIGHTFAIR introduces two Forums this year – LFI Healthcare Lighting Forum and LFI Hospitality Lighting Forum. World-renowned keynote speakers, addressing multiple facets of lighting and design, lead the more than 170 presenters taking the stages during the 5-day Conference program.

LFI’s expanded trade show floor has a product mix of more than 40 categories that includes integrated design, alternative energy and solar power, OLEDs, healthcare, hospitality, digital signage and software. The expanded categories will give attendees broader and deeper access to products and technologies from more than 500 exhibitors, including new exhibitors.

The LFI Innovation Awards® will highlight the best in new product innovation and celebrate 25 years of innovation by recognizing its 25-year exhibitors. The event takes place on Tuesday, June 3, at 8:30 a.m. in room N109 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, just before the opening of the exhibit hall at 10 a.m.

The LFI 25th Anniversary Celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony takes place in the new networking lounge - LFI 25 - inside the exhibit hall, booth 908, in the Las Vegas Convention Center at 10 a.m. This event follows the LFI Innovation Awards® and occurs with the opening of the trade show floor.

All LIGHTFAIR International 2014 events take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center located at 3150 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89109. For LIGHTFAIR International 2014, the Pre-Conference program will take place from Sunday, June 1 – Monday, June 2, 2014 and the LFI Trade Show and Conference will run from Tuesday, June 3 – Thursday, June 5, 2014.
