Light Flow to be Showcased by LED Lighting Applications Preview: Lighting Design Salon at Green Lighting Shanghai 2012

When LED is used indoors, you don’t see the light projected by traditional lamps. Rather, a glow is emitted from the ceiling. The myriad of possible lighting displays can resemble a star-studded sky, a moonlit night or even sunlight. When projecting a starry sky, the ceiling shimmers with a broad array of stars. For a moonlit night, a ‘full moon’ casts a cool light over the room. In sunlight mode, the ‘moon’ becomes the ‘sun’, lighting up the room as brightly as if it were daytime.

How long before this type of lighting, ideal lighting, becomes an everyday part of mainstream living? The answer to this question can be found at Green Lighting Shanghai 2012, where the organizers will present a special feature, the Lighting Design Salon, which is sure to be one of the event’s major highlights.

Planned by skilled designers, the Lighting Design Salon will feature numerous LED lighting applications and replicate hotel interiors, commercial properties and outdoor landscapes. It will be a robust platform on which property owners, lighting designers and manufacturers can interact face-to-face. This segment is sure to enhance the quality of the exhibition and boost awareness of exhibitors’ brands. Participants will mainly be representatives of hotels, museums, malls, high-end properties, municipal administration and road maintenance departments, as well as architects, city planners and lighting design teams.
