LED collar & companion app help locate your buddy

The collar comes with an app, which gives owners the chance to change the effects of the LED on the collar from Disco inferno to Sandstorm. Buddy provides key insights into the users dog's behaviour and health with a built-in accelerometer that measures distance traveled, steps taken and the number of floors climbed.

Buddy contains a temperature sensor, that alerts owners when their dog gets too hot or too cold. Users can input their daily calorie intake so Buddy can offset this against their daily exercise for a clear picture of the dog’s health.

Track your dog in real-time via your mobile phone. This means a direct line to the pooch with a play-by-play of what they are up to at any given time. Buddy uses advanced GPS technology to pinpoint a dog's location using the largest cellular networks across the world.

Users can set custom safe zones for their pet. This creates a virtual boundary around specific areas that owners setup and control via the app. Even if users visit the same dog park, Buddy automatically enables that boundary just in case users forget. Squeaker does this by using geofencing technology built right into the collar and app.

Buddy connects to smart-home devices and uses in-built sensors such as temperature. This allows operation with smart thermostats, like NEST from Google, that allow devices to talk to each other. So when Buddy detects that the dog is too hot or too cold it can set the thermostat accordingly so the dog’s environment is safe and comfortable when users are not around.

Buddy can send alerts via LIFX or Phillips Hue smart-bulbs, to let users know if something important is happening with their dog if they do not have their phone on them. Smart-bulbs work in the same way as smart-thermostats. Simply sync a smart-home product with Buddy and control them with different commands straight from the palm of your hand.
