LBT Patent Approved by USPTO
Light-Based Technologies has developed an analog control circuit for a plurality of light sources. The company has been issued U.S. Patent No. 7,570,183 on August 4th, 2009 to protect this invention.
AccoSimplicity, intelligence and cost-effectiveness are key benefits to using this linear control scheme in LED product designs. LBT offers the technology in the form of LED Control chips that allow for greater lumen-per-watt efficiency over the entire operating range of fixtures, as well as generate less heat and electro-magnetic interference in the product.
“We have always felt that our technology is unique and valuable,” says Jeanette Jackson, Chief Executive Officer. “With recognition from the USPTO that our approach to LED control is protected and defensible we look forward to the release of our LB4 family of chips and a suite of unique applications that employ this technology.”
