KWM broadens motorsport capabilities through KW Racing
High performance motorsport engineering company, KW Motorsport (KWM), has expanded its scope to offer on demand motorsport consultancy through new division KW Racing. With more than 15 years’ experience in the motorsport arena, KWM has supported teams competing at the very highest level, providing cutting-edge solutions in areas such as chassis design, lightweight structures and powertrain integration.
The newly-launched KW Racing division expands on this activity, offering data analysis, trackside team and race management, alongside a host of testing and simulation services. KW Racing will be led by Will Phillips, a highly-respected figure in the motorsport engineering arena, who returns to the company he helped found in 2002.
Bringing more than two decades of engineering experience to the team, Phillips has gained a deep understanding of technological innovation throughout his career, no more so in the past 7 years, where he held the position of Vice President of Technology in the world-renowned IndyCar series.
Commenting on the launch of KW Racing, Phillips said: “I’m delighted to continue the relationship with the KWSP family and help expand on the great work KWM has been doing over the past 15 years. “I feel my experience and insight will complement the highly-skilled KWM team providing a comprehensive solution for race teams worldwide.”
As part of the launch, KWM has launched a new website where visitors can explore the services offered by both divisions.
