iSLI and Steepest Ascent join to make CPD courses more accessible
The Institute for System Level Integration, iSLI, and DSP and communications specialist, Steepest Ascent, have signed a Memorandum of Co-operation (MOC) to make Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses more accessible to a wider audience. Both parties have agreed to develop and foster academic collaboration by jointly offering Steepest Ascent’s CPD short courses in ‘DSP and Communication Theory’ and ‘Wireless Standards’. The next course, Adaptive Filtering and Linear Algebra DSP, will run on 17-19 February and will be hosted at Steepest Ascent’s training facilities in Glasgow.
To eCommenting on the MOC agreement, Tony Harker, CEO of iSLI, said, “We are very pleased to enter the Co-operative Memorandum with Steepest Ascent. Through joint action, we will be better placed to respond to the industry’s training needs and aim to improve the supply of well-qualified staff to leading-edge industries in the knowledge economy.”
Forthcoming CPD courses include: MIMO for Wireless Communications; OFDM for Wireless Communications; DVB-H; FPGAs and Embedded Processors; Synchronisation for Digital Receivers; DSP for FPGAs; DSP Theory, Architectures, Algorithms; 3GPP LTE Physical Layer.
In addition to the joint courses, iSLI offers other electronic design short courses including an online course in CMOS Analogue Circuit Design presented by the renowned, Dr Phillip E. Allen, a Retired Professor Emeritus at Georgia Tech Institute of Technology.
