Intelligent display developer sponsors UK conference
Intelligent Display Solutions (IDS), a division of Intelligent Group Solutions, will be the lead sponsor of this year's UK Device Developers' Conference. The event, targeted at engineers and computer scientists working in the development of intelligent systems and devices, will take place during May and June in Reading, Cambridge, Manchester and Uphall (Scotland).
IDS were established in 2001 by a team of display industry experts. Over time they have built up a great deal of knowledge about both the technical approach and the user interface approach to designing displays using LCD, TFT and OLED technologies for many applications. IDS have helped develop innovative displays, helping customers to enhance their products, with some even receiving awards for design and application.
The UK Device Developers' Conference is an annual event that explores the new technologies and tools that are used in the development of MPU controlled systems and electronics. The aim of the event is to provide a productive forum whereby engineers can meet key industry experts from software, design tool and hardware vendors. The conference includes a choice of half-day technical workshops, two streams of technical presentations and a vendor exhibition.
"We are very pleased to have support for our 2015 Conference from IDS," said Richard Blackburn, Conference Manager. "IDS is a leader in the design and provision of display technology for embedded systems. They will bring a lot of knowledge and expertise to this event. It's great to have such a respected company on board."
"We are very pleased to be supporting the 2015 UK Device Developers' Conference,” said Adrian Amor, Director, IDS. “It’s proven to be a very useful event in the past. This Conference gives us an important opportunity to explain and demonstrate our display and touchscreen technologies. It is also an important chance to meet with engineers to discuss their future requirements and challenges.”
"The Device Developers' Conference is very much about discovering and exploring new technologies, and the chance to meet with industry experts and fellow developers," added Blackburn. "We like to think that engineers walk away from this event with solutions to problems, important discoveries and plenty of design ideas. Certainly we have had a lot of feedback, in this respect."
