Innovative LED products shine at lighting fair

Catering to both commercial and industrial applications, the newly launched products on display included Megaman’s MARCO MIDI integrated LED tracklight, Dino 2 Farm LED battens and also its new INGENIUM ZB compatible Tunable White LED lamps, LED PAR16 dimmable lamp and RGBW LED Flexi strip light.

A mid-range variant on the MARCO integrated LED tracklight series, MARCO MIDI has an understated, classic design with a built-in driver. It also features Megaman’s innovative Dual Beam Technology (DBT) which was recently commended at the 2019 Lux Awards in the Enabling Technology of the Year category.

The MARCO range was the first Megaman product line to feature DBT which allows users to easily alter between two different in-built beam angles, 25° and 45°, even after the fixture has been installed. The addition of DBT to the MARCO MIDI now completes the range.

Also on display were Megaman’s new additions to the INGENIUM ZB smart lighting series. Considered to be one of the most scalable smart lighting solutions on the market, the new additions that were showcased included an LED PAR16 dimmable bulb, an LED RGBW Flexi strip light and a Tunable White LED which is available in candlelight and classic lamps - both of which allow users to control and change the colour temperature output of the LED.

Utilising ZigBee mesh work technology, INGENIUM ZB allows users to wirelessly monitor and schedule 50 connected devices from a phone or tablet and is compatible with a range of other popular smart products, including Amazon Alexa and Google Home. All the new items showcased at Hong Kong Lighting Fair can be fully connected to the existing system and controlled through the INGENIUM ZB gateway and mobile app.

Finally, Megaman exhibited its Dino 2 Farm LED Batten range. Specifically designed for the agricultural industry, Dino 2 Farm can withstand harsh environments including those with high levels of ammonia-containing gases commonly found on farms. Tested and certified by DLG (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gessellschaft), the German Agricultural Society, for ammonia resistance and cleaning distance, Dino 2 Farm is proven to resist the corrosive ammonia which leads to the deterioration of the lighting apparatus.
