Huawei to Provide Managed Services to China Unicom Shanghai
Huawei, a leading telecom solutions provider, today announced that it has been selected by China Unicom Shanghai, as its managed services partner. According to the contract, Huawei will provide managed services for more than 50 percent of China Unicom Shanghai's base station sites, which cover 11 districts of Shanghai.

In general, our provision of managed services enables our customers to improve network availability, leverage network investment and reduce operating cost. In this case, Huawei's maintenance of its network will allow China Unicom Shanghai to focus on its core business and launch new services for its customers quickly, easily and cost effectively.
To date, Huawei has provided managed services to more than 70 operators in 68 countries.
