Healthcare start-up, Qured, has announced a seed extension crowdfunding campaign with Crowdcube to offer investors the chance to join the new health tech business at a key time within the health industry. Qured will use the opportunity to accelerate its growth further by servicing a larger population as well as widening its offering to include other health services.

The on-demand healthcare service, which provides doctors and physiotherapists to your home, hotel or workplace, experienced major growth in its first ten months. During that period, Qured received more than £1.4m in 2017 following a successful crowdfunding campaign, with support from 555 investors keen to be involved in the revolutionary approach to primary healthcare - this includes its Board Member, Dan Warne, Deliveroo’s UK and IE Managing Director.

Originally launched in Clapham, the service now covers Greater London and has achieved over 30,000 downloads, 6,000 registered patients and 450 registered doctors. It provides a health service that is up to 40% cheaper than existing private healthcare and offers flexible appointments at a time and location to suit the patient, rather than the practitioner.

Commenting on the future of Qured, Dan Warne, commented: “I loved Qured’s founding team and their vision for a business that operates in a space ripe for new direction. It’s only natural that they’re keen to serve a broader population and extend its services, especially as there’s such a demand and limited competition at present. The confidence I have in the concept, and the ability of the team to execute and deliver it, speaks for itself and I’m looking forward to being part of what’s set to be an incredible journey.”

Fellow Qured Board Member, Tim Ringrose, CEO at M3 EU/doctorsnet.uk said: “Everybody recognises that the NHS is under tremendous pressure and there’s also an awareness that digital has a large part to play in healthcare that’s yet to be realised. I see Qured revolutionising the way healthcare can be delivered for a generation living at a faster pace than ever; providing a vital service in a more efficient, cost effective and convenient way.”

Funds generated by the crowdfunding campaign will aid Qured in its development, and in return investors will receive equity in the company and share the benefits of its potential growth.

The campaign is now live and interested individuals can join the journey from as little as £10.00. To find out more or pledge support, visit crowdcube.com/qured.
