Guifx Names Morgan Strauss as Company President
Guifx, an interface design studio specializing in touchscreen interfaces for home automation and embedded systems, today announced it has named Morgan Strauss as the company's new president. Formerly Guifx's director of operations, Strauss will lead the company as it continues to grow and expand its presence in the home automation and embedded systems markets.
A veOver the last ten years, Strauss has helped Guifx become recognized as an innovator by a worldwide audience of over 10,000 customers in 43 countries. In addition, his Uiology series of articles, which discusses tips, tricks, and techniques for designing touchscreen UIs, has become a popular resource for designers.
Guifx is an amazing company — the first of its kind — and what we have achieved over the last ten years is truly inspiring. We've done this by providing integrators with unique differentiation from the pack, and by offering their customers easy-to-use, sleek, and stylish interfaces to navigate their home world, said Strauss. As we move forward, we want to build on this success and momentum to expand our presence in other markets, embedded systems in particular. As president, I look forward to guiding the company toward achieving this goal.
Strauss has held the position of CEDIA task force chair and has shared his expertise by teaching numerous classes and seminars, including Interface Design for Touchscreens at CES and CEDIA EXPO. Prior to Guifx, he proved himself to be something of a Renaissance man, with job titles as varied as mechanical designer and director of marketing.
