Focus On Innovation At productronica China

As the industry’s most important gathering, productronica China took visitors into future technologies, industry trends and rapidly growing markets. It displayed cutting-edge technologies in cable processing, dispenser, EMS, materials, SMT, coil winding, ESD, clean room, test and measurement, automation and component manufacturing and more.

“Some new products were launched this week at productronica China 2013 and we couldn’t be more excited to kick off this record-breaking show,” said Ryan Loh, Managing Director of MMI Shanghai. “productronica China had an incredible story to tell with every major technology company spanning the globe participating in this year’s trade fair to present their innovations.”

Switch on the innovation

Particularly productronica China always convinces in displaying cable processing technologies. Global leading players such as JAM, komax wire, Lode, Practical Solution, Schleuniger, Schaefer or ShinMaywa, plus local pioneers including Hiprecise, Junquan, THB, Yinhua and others, presented their latest products.

Marc Schuermann, Vice President Sales Member of General Management of Komax Wire, commented: “It’s a very exciting show. We have met about 550 customers these two days. It’s quite busy for us. And allover it’s a great show.”

Furthermore, productronica China strengthened the cooperation with SMT industry associations this year and achieved great accomplishment. Manbo Su, Secretary-General of the Guangdong Provincial Institute of Electronics SMT committee shared his views on SMT segment: “We were happy and very satisfied with the trade fair though it was the first time for us to cooperate with each other. We met a lot of professional visitors from traditional EMS and other electronics manufacturing industry. We also met the demands of the new customers to explore a lot of business chances. We hope more SMT companies will join us and have deeper cooperation with productronica China next year.”

Another highlight was the soldering and dispenser segment where visitors exchanged technical knowledge and new ideas with the first-class exhibitors such as APM, AXXON, BANSEOK, BARTEC, EVERPRECISION, Scheugenpflug and Taehaeng which were showcasing their automated mixing, metering, and dispensing systems for resin and other industrial materials.

Xiao Lin, Sales Director of Shenzhen Axxson Automation, said: “The soldering and dispenser segment is very professional. productronica China is useful for us to build up brand and get new customers. The visitors are from different industrial fields, which are beneficial to expand our business.”

Meanwhile, EMS offered visitors with deep insights on the evolving EMS value chain. With this area small and medium-sized EMS companies were encouraged to reposition themselves more actively in the highly competitive markets.

Cutting-edge technologies at innovation forum

At productronica China the International Wire Harness Innovation Forum focusing on the topics such as automotive wire harness, design and innovation of green wire harness and latest technologies on test system, was very well attended throughout the trade fair.

Alan Tan, President Market Region China of Schleuniger Trading (Shanghai), said: “At the International Wire Harness Innovation Forum, we met a lot of professionals in this field and welcomed the visitors of good quality due to the great effort and support from productronica China.”

Visitors benefited from the brilliant views by experts, scholar and engineers who were from the well-known institutions of higher education and top industrial cooperation.
