Enpirion appoints UR as UK sales partner

The layout and placement of the inductor is one of the most common reasons for power IC-related failures. Enpirion products not only solve this problem but also reduce board footprint by up to 70% and component count by up to 60% as well as reducing noise and ripple associated with switch-mode power conversion. At the same time, they achieve up to 92% peak efficiency, deliver best-in-class transient response and enable a tenfold switching-frequency improvement over solutions that were until now considered state of the art – output supply voltage can be scaled in a blistering 10 microseconds. In terms of output current, the product line currently ranges from 500mA to 9A and is continuing to expand.

Enpirion’s revolutionary technology provides the ideal solution when board space is at a premium and power consumption must be kept to a minimum. It is also ideal for applications where one or more PoL supplies are required to power key circuitry and there is a need to simplify design and manufacturing, reduce development costs and accelerate time-to-market.
