easyDriver – LED backlight converter

LED backlight driver - easydriver, designed, developed and manufactured by Data Modul. More and more TFTs are coming up with a modern LED-backlight. The advantages of the LED-backlight white, such as good shock and vibration resistance, high efficiency, mercury free, usable in ex-protected area and a very flat construction of the whole unit, are perfect for a wide range of applications.

The end-user is very interested in such solutions and the acceptance increased after a life time of 50.000 hours at an operating temperature range of 25°C for the LED backlight white was achieved. To use the efficiency of the unit in the full range our solution the easyDrivers are especially approved to the TFT.

The device can run up to 4 LED strings with a maximum of 42 volts per string. Each LED-channel is monitored individually. The backlight driver has a 12V power supply, it is specified for the full industrial temperature range of the TFT´s from -40°...+80°C and supports two dimming options (analogue and PWM).
