Digi-Key's success in Elektronik Magazine's Distributor of the Year Awards

Distributors of the year were selected by readers of Elektronik and the publishing company's website, elektroniknet.de. The survey was conducted in November 2006 with the results announced in July 2007. Products were divided into four segments, including active components, passive components, electromechanical and optoelectronics. Distributors were ranked in the following categories: product portfolio, product availability, delivery service, technical support, and overall impression.

In addition to receiving number one rankings in passive components product portfolio and optoelectronic delivery service categories, Digi-Key received several additional high rankings in the active components, passive components and optoelectronics segments.

All orders are shipped from Digi-Key's Thief River Falls, Minn., USA facility via UPS Express Air for delivery to European customers in one to three days.

Digi-Key is currently ranked the fifth largest distributor of electronic components in North America. Recent rankings show Digi-Key to be the ninth largest distributor worldwide.
