DEK Solar Presents Findings at World Solar Congress

Brian Lau, Director of DEK Solar & Process Support Products and Commercial Management and Dr. Xiao Chen, Chief Technology Officer of DEK Solar, presented the results of recent tests by DEK Solar and DuPont Microcircuit Materials, a leading global manufacturer of high efficiency photovoltaic metallization pastes, which showed a total reduction of silver consumption of up to 40% and a relative increase in cell efficiency by more than 0.5% for dual print (in comparison to an industry standard single screen print process). These results were achieved by using a stencil to print the fine lines and a mesh screen to print a dedicated busbar paste. Delegates were keen to discover how DEK is able to help them improve capacity and efficiency through these technology advancements in order to build for the future.

World Solar Congress was attended by over 47 top solar personnel, many of whom are CEOs, CTOs and VPs representing the whole supply chain. DEK was a gold sponsor of the event and is committed to developing innovations and technologies that provide sustainable solutions to the solar industry.
