DATA MODUL´s big display supplier “ChiMei Innolux” renamed in “Innolux“

The reason was to avoid confusion over the products of the company and its shareholder “Chi Mei Corporation”. Innolux is one of the leading display manufacturers worldwide and produces, among others, outstanding TFT-displays from 6.95“ (17.7 cm) up to 26“ (66 cm) for industrial applications.

The new English name of “Innolux Corporation” is obtained through combining two words, “innovation” and “lux”. Where “lux” is the unit of luminance and luminous emittance representing its bright future in the optronics industry. The name change will not impact or change purchase orders, contracts or other documents.
