It has been announced by CommAgility, a Wireless Telecom Group company, that it has achieved certification under the ISO 9001:2015 quality standard, which sets out the criteria for a quality management system (QMS).

Edward Young, Vice President and General Manager at CommAgility, stated: “We are always looking at how we can improve our processes and products, to meet and exceed the requirements of our customers. We’re now aligned with our parent company, Wireless Telecom Group, which achieved ISO 9001:2015 last year.”

ISO 9001:2015 sets out the criteria for a quality management system (QMS). The standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the commitment of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. CommAgility regularly reviews its QMS and its quality policy to ensure they remain up to date.

This latest certification builds on CommAgility’s receipt of ISO 9001:2008 certification in 2017. Compared to ISO 9001:2008, the new version of the standard puts greater emphasis on leadership engagement, and helps address risks in a more structured manner.

CommAgility reportedly ensures that its quality policy is understood at all levels within the company through training, regular communication, and reinforcement during employee performance reviews.
