CoActive Technologies Increases Switch Product Offering with Acquisition of Comax Industrial Co. Ltd

CoActive Technologies, a leading global provider of interface solutions, announces the acquisition of Comax Industrial Co. Ltd, an innovative designer and manufacturer of switch products and assemblies.
The acquisition of Comax complements and increases CoActive’s range of C&K switch products while strengthening its manufacturing and customer footprint in Asia. “We are pleased to have finalized the acquisition with Comax to complement the industry leading product offering from C&K Components. Comax further expands our position in Asia, and will benefit from C&K’s 90-plus years of innovation in the switch industry,” said Paul Jona, CoActive Technologies’ CEO & Chairman.

Headquartered in Hong Kong with its primary engineering and manufacturing facility located in Huizhou, China, Comax manufactures more than 250 million parts annually for a wide variety of applications including digital cameras and other consumer electronics, home appliances and personal care products, office equipment, and automotive controls.

With approximately 700 employees, Comax has been in operation in China for 25 years. Comax has established a solid reputation for R&D, manufacturing and service, all supported by industry and key customer accredited quality standards in both process and environmental requirements, including ISO 9001 and 14001, automotive TS16949 and Sony Green Partner certifications.
