rd Technologies, Inc., a global leader in the design and supply of customized performance-critical components and systems for advanced electronics and wireless products, today announced it will be attending the GEAPS (Grain Elevator and Processing Society) Exchange 2011 trade show. The trade show will be held at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon, February 26 – March 1, 2011. Cattron, a unit of Laird Technologies, will exhibit at booth# 302.
Cattron, a unit of Laird Technologies, will showcase its remote controls that are designed for locomotives used in the grain industry; including the CattronConnect and QC-II remote control system. The remote control systems are incorporated on locomotives being used at grain elevator locations throughout the United States. They allow for a one-person operation by taking the engineer out of the cab of the locomotive and letting the user remotely operate the locomotive when the need for moving the grain cars while loading arises.

“Cattron, a unit of Laird Technologies, will once again be participating in the GEAPS 2011 trade show, and will promote its CattronConnect and QC-II remote control system,” said Daniel Mihalcak, Cattron, a Unit of Laird Technologies, Vice President of Sales - Rail Group. “This portable remote control utilizes the latest in remote control technology as well as the ability to download pertinent information from the locomotive via cellar phone or 802.11 wireless. This system offers the end user the best product on the market for their locomotive remote control needs, and is backed by Cattron’s, a unit of Laird Technologies, service.”

The GEAPS (Grain Elevator and Processing Society) Exchange 2011 trade show provides its members with the best and newest information about management, innovation and excellence in grain-related industry operations.
