The 7th MOST Forum is scheduled to take place April 21st, 2015 in Stuttgart/Esslingen, Germany.

Suggested topics for paper submissions include, but are not limited to, MOST physical layer, MOST networking and system architecture, MOST software and protocols, MOST compliance and quality, MOST applications and series projects experience, MOST and other standards, as well as research and miscellaneous topics such as consumer products in the car. Several partners will again provide their knowledge and expertise to the MOST Forum.

"This year's MOST Forum demonstrated that MOST Technology is an efficient connection between various domains in the vehicle," stated Henry Muyshondt, Executive Director of the MOST Cooperation. "MOST can network infotainment, driver assist, navigation, and communications domains by providing enhanced performance at reasonable cost." Demonstrations included the coding and decoding of video data transmitted from a TV tuner over the MOST network and the interaction of the Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) standard with MOST Technology. In his keynote speech, Ganesh Moorthy, Chief Operating Officer for Microchip Technology, introduced Microchip’s MOST vehicle networking strategy as one of the key technology drivers behind MOST Technology. Microchip is deeply involved in further development of the leading automotive network technology. Besides next-generation gigabit speed capability, MOST functions were defined in the broader context of automotive networking in general.
