Big Data and IoT excellence awards presented to DigiPlex

The Big Data and IoT Excellence Awards celebrate the achievements of the IT industry's most remarkable companies, solutions, products and personalities working with big data and the internet of things.

Leveraging both the incredible geographic and political advantages of the Nordic region, DigiPlex was recognised as an example of a new generation of data centre providers, which maximise savings, reduce carbon-footprint and offer a customisable, scalable service.

The awards were judged by a panel of Computing’s editors and experts from a range of businesses, including CERN, Northumbria University and the European Space Agency. 

“It was clear to the judging panel that DigiPlex is committed to taking a position of leadership in its industry. DigiPlex data centres combine the provision of a valuable business solution with a great sense of social responsibility. DigiPlex is a great example of the extent to which established solutions are being innovated upon,” said Stuart Sumner, Editorial Director, Computing.

This award is the latest in a string of recent recognitions for DigiPlex. In April the company was included among the ‘20 Most Promising Data Center Solution Providers 2017’ by CIOReview and in December DigiPlex won the ‘Critical Environment Future Thinking Award” at the annual EMEA DCD Awards’. DigiPlex is also a finalist for the ‘Data Centre Above and Beyond Award’ at the upcoming DataCloud Europe conference in Monaco.
