Autonomous cars: imagination turns to reality
Nissan recently stated they are planning to have fully autonomous cars ready as showpiece taxis for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Before that, much of the technology will be added in some existing models of Nissan like Qashqai by 2018. In the same manner, other auto brands are not too behind in developing robotic cars.
Everyone’s concept is ready and launching dates are finalised. In fact, the number of autonomous driving patents filed by Audi is more than other companies. This indicates us about how fast technology is moving further. The self-reliant vehicle market is presently developing at an existential speed and plenty of driverless vehicles are anticipated to be on our roads, and in large numbers.
Google has launched a dedicated company for its self-driving cars, named as WAYMO. Apple refused to share more details about their project but confirmed that they are working on Self-Driving Cars.
