ArcCore, the independent software provider for AUTOSAR solutions with headquarters in Gothenburg/Sweden, is now extending its reach by establishing a subsidiary in Germany. ArcCore GmbH is based in Munich and serves as another hub for the company to better serve the European automotive market. The German office starts with five employees for support and sales and is headed by Thomas Winkler, Vice President Europe at ArcCore.

“Further leading the way for ArcCore in the European automotive market is an exciting assignment, and I am very happy to head this extremely dedicated new team in Germany,” said Thomas Winkler. “Our products lead the way for many automotive companies who need to align their development with the AUTOSAR standard.”

“ArcCore is still a young company, but is growing extremely fast especially in the Central European automotive market. The new German office is only the next logical step towards ArcCore’s global presence“, said Per Nordberg, CEO of Fouriertransform AB, one of the investors of ArcCore.

ArcCore’s core products are the development tool chain Arctic Studio, a complete environment for automotive embedded software solutions based on the AUTOSAR standard, and Arctic Core, the flexible and transparent embedded platform offering a comprehensive AUTOSAR stack for building automotive electronic control units.

Both tool suites offer novices with AUTOSAR, but also experienced professionals the best jumpstart into AUTOSAR development. Arctic Studio and Arctic Core are available as open source licenses for evaluation and early designs, but also as commercial licenses for proprietary product development.
