Anglia adds Mitsubishi displays in UK/Ireland

Anglia Components has signed an agreement to distribute and support the Mitsubishi Electric range of displays in the UK and Ireland.  The agreement strengthens Anglia’s display portfolio, and extends its 10-year partnership with Mitsubishi covering RF devices.

Potential applications include designs for factory automation equipment, test instruments, medical systems, transportation systems, marine electronics, avionics, point of sale terminals and kiosks.”

Mitsubishi’s new relationship with Anglia will help it gain greater penetration of the UK industrial display market.

The new agreement covers the full range of Mitsubishi display products for industrial and other applications.

Mitsubishi’s display range includes TFT-LCD modules with standard operating temperature range of -30 to +80 degrees and -40 to +85 degrees for models utilising Mitsubishi’s Toughness Technology. The displays have long life LED backlighting with optional integrated resistive and projected capacitive (PCAP) touch screens. 

Other features include high brightness (>500cd/m²) or super high brightness (>1000cd/ m²) line-ups for use in all light conditions including outdoor sunlight readability, and a 170-degree super wide viewing (SWV) angle architecture.

Mitsubishi offers display modules in standard and wide aspect ratio formats in all the standard resolutions with sizes from 3.5 inch up to 19.2 inch.

Anglia Components will offer the most popular models from the Mitsubishi display range on its Anglia Live platform.
