AMD Named to CRN’s 5-Star Partner Programs Guide for Third Consecutive Year
AMD today announced that it has been named to CRN’s 2012 Partner Programs Guide for its AMD Fusion Partner Program. CRN’s Partner Programs Guide recognizes vendors with robust partner programs or products that provide the best possible partnering elements for channel success.
“TThe AMD Fusion Partner Program was launched in 2009 in an effort to deliver greater support to AMD’s technology partners with robust training, sales-enablement resources, exclusive events, joint marketing campaigns and more. The program covers AMD’s broad product line, ranging from Accelerated Processing Units to server processors. AMD’s FPP has the flexibility to adapt to the needs of each marketplace and is tailored to support partners’ different business models. This allows partners to accurately set their expectations and more importantly plan their go-to-market strategies. The program has attracted more than 5,000 channel partners worldwide.
“We’re extremely honored to once again be recognized as offering a world-class channel partner program,” said David Kenyon, corporate vice president, Worldwide Channel Marketing, AMD. “Whether it’s bringing the right resources or technologies together to simplify a mobile computing or cloud deployment, we are dedicated to providing our partners with the support and product innovation they need to grow their business. Being named a CRN 5-Star Partner Program Award Winner for three consecutive years acknowledges that the AMD Fusion Partner Program is continuing to evolve and thrive.”
