Altran Praxis Adds Increased Expertise and Support to its SPARK Product Team

In his new role, Stuart Matthews will be responsible for developing SPARK’s product strategy and roadmap, marketing, sales, training and customer support. He will also continue to maintain and build upon the strong relationship with AdaCore, Altran Praxis’ strategic SPARK partner, and coordinate with tool partners, including Esterel Technologies.

Stuart Matthews brings over 15 years of expertise to the role. He is a Chartered Engineer, a Member of the British Computer Society and a Chartered IT Professional. After receiving a BSc in Computer Science, Stuart Matthews also conducted research into the application of term rewriting techniques for automatic theorem proving before first joining Praxis in 1990. Whilst at Praxis his work included a number of high-integrity software and systems engineering projects. After working with numerous product-based companies, Stuart is now back at Altran Praxis as Product Manager for SPARK.

My first and foremost objective is to further establish SPARK as a vital tool in the MILS and Security sector whilst continuing our programme of innovation and development. SPARK has diversified and expanded its market and we look forward to pushing into new and interesting sectors.”
