AEG Power Solutions Appoints Stuart Priest to new role as UK Channel Manager
AEG Power Solutions has announced the appointment of Stuart Priest to the new role of UK Channel Manager. This is the latest in a number of strategic appointments made by the company to develop sales of its UPS products through channel partnerships.
AEG Stuart has worked in the IT channel since 1996 and is a well known figure in the UPS marketplace. His experience in setting up and developing new channels and routes to market were a major factor in his appointment by AEG. “Leveraging my experience and industry contacts, I plan to build a successful channel business for AEG that supports and rewards its reseller and distribution partners.” He said, “Offering excellent products and first class support we are confident our partner program will appeal to those looking to be associated with a global brand and who wish to make healthy margins.”
Gary Browning EMEA Channel Development Director at AEG Power Solutions comments, “Stuart’s wealth of experience in the channel equips him perfectly for his new role as UK Channel Manager at AEG Power Solutions. Stuart managed the Networking Sales Team at Azlan before joining Mayflex and more recently MCL Data Solutions. In these last two roles he has been the vendor manager for APC, Emerson and Zigor. He knows the UPS market well, and his extensive experience will complement our team, helping our partners to identify and secure attached sales opportunities.”
One of Stuart’s first tasks is to recruit new channel resellers to AEG Power Solutions’ recently announced Power Partner Program (P3). The new program has been designed to build productive partnerships with successful resellers and to offer mutual growth opportunities.
P3 is initially divided into two tiers with benefits tailored to different performance expectations. From 2011 AEG will be introducing an additional and privileged third tier for its top performing partners. AEG Power Solutions offers partners a complete range of world-class AC and DC power supply products, including its Protect Home and Protect A, B, C and D uninterruptible power supplies for data centres and IT networks.
