AAEON is awarded the “Taiwan Superior Brands 2009” title. The contest was held by the Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT), which has commissioned TAITRA to cooperate with the international brand consulting firm, Interbrand. TAITRA announced 23 companies from the eight categories have been awarded this title of “Taiwan Superior Brands 2009” on September 22nd, 2009.
The purpose of holding the contest of “Taiwan Superior Brand Award” is to encourage Taiwan domestic enterprises to build their own brand images. Increasing the consumers’ brand recognition can make the business development easier and smoother. The implicated trend is that Taiwan is a country, which has gradually moved from OEM/ODM to OBM-oriented. TAITRA devotes its efforts in promoting Taiwan’s image and brands. The stronger the brand recognition, the more successful the company will be. Coupling this with the “Taiwan Superior Brands Contest”, TAITRA tries to promote the Taiwan products and makes Taiwan domestic enterprises well-known brands throughout the world. It not only promotes the country, but also markets Taiwan products. The true and added value of a company is the brand. Only by building its own brand, can it add value to its products and accumulate higher revenue.

The selection for the award has “primary” and “runoff” processes, which will assess the attendees’ financial status, brand performance, brand recognition, and brand strategies in the primary stage and brand performance, brand strategies, and competition aspects in the runoff stage. “AAEON has managed its brand over 10 years and managing our brand is one of AAEON’s main objectives.
