6WIND Adds Industry Veteran Charlie Ashton as Vice President of Marketing and US Business Development

Acknowledging the importance of a strong ecosystem that provides customers with integrated system-level solutions, Ashton will also coordinate 6WIND’s strategic partnerships with semiconductor companies, subsystem providers and embedded software companies worldwide.



Ashton has extensive experience in the embedded systems industry. His career includes engineering, business development and marketing leadership roles at software, semiconductor and systems companies. He previously led the introduction of new products and the development of new business at Green Hills Software, Timesys, Motorola (now Freescale Semiconductor), AppliedMicro, AMD and Dell. Ashton holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Reading in England.
