1U Rackmount Computer Offers I/O Expansion
Sealevel Systems has announced the Relio R4000 rackmount computer designed for use in space-critical environments. Available with up to a 1.4GHz Intel Pentium M processor, the R4000 offers exceptional performance and unprecedented I/O expansion in a 1.75” high chassis.
“SExpansion locations on the front and rear of the R4000 allow interface to a wide variety of real world devices and sensors using Sealevel SeaI/O OEM modules. System designers can choose from a variety of I/O configurations, including serial, optically isolated inputs, Reed and Form C relay outputs, TTL interface compatible with industry standard solid-state relay racks, A/D and D/A.
Designers can choose from several processor options including 500MHz AMD Geode LX800, 1.0GHz ULV Intel Celeron M, or 1.4GHz Intel Pentium M models. Each system is packed with standard features including dual 10/100BaseT Ethernet, two high-speed USB 2.0 ports, four serial ports, keyboard and mouse ports, and analog video. Fanless operation is possible to 50°C and application programs can execute from CompactFlash for the ultimate in reliability — no moving parts.
To achieve maximum reliability, the Relio R4000 supports Windows XP Embedded (XPe) and Linux operating systems running from CompactFlash. Sealevel support engineers can assist with migrating applications to the XPe platform. Optional high-temperature hard drives are available for applications requiring disk storage.
The R4000 is powered by an internal 100-240VAC power supply, and prices start at $999 for the AMD LX800 model. Shipment is from stock.
