AllBright’s future unclear amid reports of administration
Reports have surfaced suggesting that AllBright, the members-only women’s club, has entered administration. However, at this stage, the company has neither confirmed nor denied these claims.
AllBright was founded in 2018 by Debbie Wosskow OBE and Anna Jones with a mission to support women at all stages of their careers by fostering connections, providing professional development opportunities, and uniting organisations. Under the banners of ‘redefining ambition’ and ‘transforming business,’ the club aimed to create a space where women could grow professionally and personally.
The club’s first location in Mayfair, a townhouse that is now synonymous with AllBright, opened in 2018, and it marked the beginning of what became a well-known brand in professional networking. However, in 2022 the company reported a pre-tax loss of £6.2 million and by 2023, AllBright faced financial challenges amid a period of economic uncertainty. Cain International, co-founded by a director and co-owner of Chelsea Football Club, Jonathan Goldstein, stepped in to restructure the company’s debt and reinvest in the business.
The company appeared to regain stability and, in August 2024, acquired everywoman, a global platform dedicated to advancing women in business and leadership by providing women with professional development, networking opportunities, and industry recognition through their awards and mentorship programmes. The acquisition of everywoman aimed to further solidify both firms' ambitions for women's advancement and enhance their collective impact on gender equality and professional development, with AllBright’s ultimate goal of reaching 20 million professionals by 2030.
However, in early 2025, concerns about AllBright’s future intensified. The company abruptly cancelled a scheduled networking lunch, and reports emerged of layoffs and the permanent closure of its townhouse location.
