Amplicon gains BS EN ISO 9001:2008
Amplicon has recently gained certification to the newly revised standard of BS EN ISO 9001:2008. It was in 1992 that Amplicon was first certified to the BS5750 standard and has continued to work closely with BSI ever since to ensure that Amplicon maintain the standards required to maintain and advance this certification.
DAC and pre-amp brings cost and performance advantages to AVR and sound card design
Diodes Incorporated has introduced an 8 channel DAC and pre-amplifier chip offering designers of audio video receivers and add-on sound cards the opportunity to reduce component costs while at the same time improving audio performance. Part of the Zetex Direct Digital Feedback Amplifier product line, the ZXCZM800 will dramatically reduce circuit complexity, and in high performance differential mode, will deliver a dynamic range (DNR) as high as...
Conference optimistic at tackling CMOS variability
Speakers at Europe’s second international conference on CMOS variability reached the consensus that by working together and applying new working practices, industry could and would evolve to successfully tackle the challenges presented by CMOS variability at leading edge process geometries. Hosted at Savoy Place, London by The National Microelectronics Institute (NMI), in collaboration with the UK’s nanoCMOS Consortium, ICCV 2009 “Living ...
Analog Devices Enables Isolated USB Connections For Medical And Industrial Equipment
Analog Devices has introduced the industry’s first single-IC USB isolator which simplifies isolated USB-port implementation in system-critical medical and industrial equipment. USB ports provide a standardized, straightforward way to connect and disconnect peripheral devices to and from a computer without rebooting or turning off the system.
